Automation of housing procedures
The Request
Referral deadlines and adequate housing needs were not being obtained.
The Solution
Observing the current system over the course of two weeks and then creating an automated housing system on excel. After this the IT department coded a new software with the same capabilities to make it more user friendly for the housing department to input data.
DEI policies
The Request
There were individuals that were underperforming within a team and were under performance reviews.
The Solution
Upon evaluating the individuals performance they were able to complete the job but the documentation that was available was not accessible for everyone and so I created new accessible documentation for everyone to use.
KPI automation analytical tools
The Request
Upper management was not seeing the work produced by certain departments and refused to increase funding for them.
The Solution
Upon investigation the KPI reporting system for the company was showing this department as underperforming. By creating a new excel spreadsheet which reworked the reporting system. This actually proved the department hit more KPI's than every department and highlighted where others could improve.
Wellbeing initiatives
The Request
Employees had high stress and there was a high turn over of staff.
The Solution
By creating weekly wellbeing session and mindfulness based training we were able to reduce the stress of the employees. This increased staff retention rate as well as productivity within the employees.
Interview process restructures
The Request
Due to high staff turnover due to dismissals and quitting they wanted to restructure their interview process to ensure that staff who would stay longer would be recruited.
The Solution
By performing a JA and observing the work I was able to created a new two step structured interview. They found that staff retention was better and performance was also higher from new employees.
Leadership development
The Request
There was a staff shortage due to a manager leaving and they wanted to train up other staff members.
The Solution
I trained up multiple staff members that they were planning to promote in mindful leadership so they had the necessary skills.
